have you even done one mission? missions are pretty damned epic, and blow anything wow has out of the water. i have 3 level 34ish toon in wow, and 90% of my gametime there is spent jogging, or making myself some coffee as my toon takes a ride on a bird somewhere, or waiting for zepplins. So far the pve is at least as good as wow...without the time sinks of travel and the money sinks of continuous upgrades, travelling, item decay, and crafting. i just can't believe you spent the bazillion hours grinding a wow toon to 60...now that's some boring gameplay when compared to this. I find the missions in GW to actually have a grande scope. It is like I am part of the story and making a difference. To me that is grande and epic. Also your earlier comment about only having 8 skills while WoW has 30. That is one of the things I hated about WoW. Every Paladin or Warrior was the same, yeah there might be slight differences but in the end you knew what you were getting. In GW, even if 2 toons have the same Primary/Secondary you dont necessarily have any clue what build they will have. I personally find Guild Wars to be superior to WoW in most aspects. For me PvP is far and away better, while PvE also outshine WoW. |
